Cannot see pictures: Viral, fungal, or bacterial infections can cause lymphatic tissue (lymph nodes, tonsils,adenoids, back 1/3 of tongue) to swell as they trap pathogens. See your GP of an ENT as soon as possible to have swollen areas examined.
