Many choices: I would see a dermatologist who specializes in the treatment of difficult problems there are many different options for the treatment of lichen planus. You should also be checked for hepatitis c which can be associated with lichen planus.

No cure: There is no cure, just maintenance for lichen planus. Several dentists work with particular pharmacies to have a custom rinse made up for helping with the problem. Sometimes some meds may have to be administered in severe cases. I would consult your dentist or an oral surgeon.
