Got a blocked and painful ear, it started today. i woke up with a blocked nose. now it's painful. it also feels like there's a thick liquid in there.

Ear infection: Description sounds like an ear infection. See your pcp so the physician can take a look in your ears and throat. May need antibiotics if its a bacterial infection. Can do supportive care in the mean time: fluids, rest, and tylenol (acetaminophen) as needed for fever and/or pain.
