A small bone=rest: Accessory bones in the feet are actually quite tiny. Though small, they can be stressed, fractured and bruised. Most of the time, an injury to any of such bones does not require surgery, but rest and immobilization to allow for healing. If this does not prove successful surgery becomes an option.
