Yes!: 'nervous breakdown' is a vague term which can refer to many situations and conditions. I believe that with the right help and unquenchable determination, some people can fully recover. In some cases, mental illnesses must be managed for life but a happy, productive life is definitely possible as long as proper treatment, support and nurturance are available and utilized.
