Heartburn: Please go to a gastroenterologist and allow them to look into your stomach. That upper endoacopy will tell them a lot of information about what is cauaing this and will direct the treatment. Taking Tums (calcium carbonate) indefinitely isn't best especially when there are other causes. Some require antibiotics for weeks to fully treat. Know what you have is better than guessing.
