A member asked:

What does erythematous mucosa in the stomach mean on an endoscopy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Gastropathy: Red mucosa could be due to chemicals like naprosyn, aleve, (naproxen) asa or bacterial induced gastritis. Biopsies can show if there is bacteria present. Usually the red mucosa is a non-specific finding.
