Why worried?: Had there been any cancer, your doctor would have told you. The findings you described are no way near cancer. Endoscopy: LA grade A esophagitis @ gastroesophageal junction & few mid size bleps w/ localized distribution in mid esophageal segment. Biopsy: gastric cardiac type mucosa w/ chronic inflammation but no intestinal metaplasia/dysplasia. Diagnosis?
