Thyroid or typhoid?: There are a number of phony "pop" tests to self-evaluate for both thyroid disease and for typhoid fever. Ignore them. Your physician knows how and when to check for both. Raise the question if you have a concern.

Thyroid check: It's very likely you have a thyroid because not having one is incompatible with life. The two easiest and cheapest ways to check it are labs (T4, TSH) and an ultrasound.
