Remission!: Gum disease is a condition that is treatable, but you will need professional dental treatment along with a serious home oral hygiene routine. But if you are age 23 and already have a gum disease you may have a genetic pre-disposition. So for you will need to be vigilant your entire life to keep your gum disease in remission. Your youth also means you have time on your side for a real cure!
