TEE: It is normal to have some mild throat irritation after such a procedure. If it persists or worsens you should be evaluated by your doc.

Been there: I was a bit sore for a few days after the procedure. Your tissues get a bit bumped and bruised as the hardware is inserted and removed. Should begin to feel better after the 2nd day. If not, call the Practitioner that did the procedure.
