HIV antibody Testing: It is not clear. Antibodies should continue to circulate if you are HIV positive when you are on HIV medications. But, if the test is negative it is very likely you did not get hiv. I do not believe the duovir alone is an appropriate or effective pep treatment. The best test in this scenario is the HIV RNA or dna pcr test once you are at least two weeks off of your pep treatment.
