Lymphedema i was born with it according to the doctor. i started to notice it when i turned 12 because of the swelling! is there any cure i am 18 now?

Please: Get an opinion from a surgeon, because this could be curable. It could become a real problem, beyond just swelling, in the future.

No cure.: There are many types of lymphedema and some are congenital and some can occur at later ages. Unfortunately there is no cure for lymphedema but there are many types of symptomatic treatment to control it. Leg elevation, support hose, compression pumps, lymphedema massage, skin emollients, exercise and keeping a good weight all help.
