I saw a different doctor and he said my heart was to high and he put me on a beta blocker medicine will i ever grow out of pots? i'm 32 years old

Need to find cause: Unless you know the cause, it is not a good idea to be taking a beta blocker. It is better to treat the cause which can be number of reasons. You should see another physician and ask him/her to find the cause of fast heart rate(like overactive thyroid is one such cause) and then treat the cause(with a different medication). Beta blockers are a temporary solution(as they do not target the cause).

BETA BLOCKES: Betablockers are often prescribed to slw down the heart rate. But prognosis of pots is variable.Many will see improvement in symptoms over many years.If pots was caused post viral infection may improve completely.Women who get pots during;after pregnancy, see milder improvement and may have symptoms all her life.
