Levonorgestrel: No formal studies were conducted to evaluate the effect of hepatic disease on the disposition of Levonorgestrel or submitted to the fda and there are no significant reports of liver toxicity so that it seems this should be safe, but always best to check with the doctor treating you.

High ALT: 340 is quite elevated and liver disorders are listed as a precaution against taking levonorgestrel. What did the rest of your liver blood tests show and have you had an ultrasound of the liver and gall bladder? Hepatitis or gall stones are to be checked for in your case. Your physician is best to advise and follow you.
