Big difference: Anxiety is a feeling of restlessness which makes you feel that you are on the edge all the time. It is usually caused by the fear of something bad happening to you. Depression is low mood, a feeling of worthlessness and sadness, sometimes leading you to frquent crying or even suicidal thoughts. You should seek medical help or counseling if you have symptoms of depression as it may not settle down.
