A member asked:

Does pregnancy also cause hyperpigmentation?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Hormonal fluctuations can cause hyperpigmentation. It can fade as time passes but you once you have finished the pregnancy you can start witih topical products such as hydroquinone and Retin-A as well as a melanage minipeel. After breast feeding you can do more lasers since it is more invasive but with breast feeding you will still have some hormonal changes.
