Very unlikely.: Doubtful from gall bladder disease alone. In the case of obstruction due to gallstones with the development of jaundice, which can cause itching, chronic scratching could possibly cause hyperpigmentation. Other than that, by itself, it is unlikely to do so. However, other diseases can cause it so get a thorough checkup.
