How do people outgrow adhd i thought it wasn't curable ?

Variable outcome: Some adhd patients grow into self monitoring capabilities as they grow older an will not need medications as an adult. Their form of adhd was more a delay of the skill than a permanent condition. In others, the distractibility and difficulty in focus does persist into adulthood.
