Fertility/Eggs: Ovulation comes from the word "ova" or egg and refers to the monthly release of an egg. Fertility refers to the probability of becoming pregnant. If everything is working w/woman and partner physically, then they are likely fertile and an egg can be fertilized when cycle permits. If infertile, pregnancy cannot happen. Hope this helps.
