A few cycles: Theoretically, fertility drugs should have an effect with the first cycle after you begin therapy, but most clinicians in our hospital recommend giving things one to three cycles before expecting an optimal response. Since everyone's reproductive system is unique, there is no single answer for this question. Make sure you follow your OB GYN's directions to decr chances of multiple pregnancy
