Wait a while...: A plastic surgeon is your best bet, but the scar won't mature for 6-12 months, at which time it should look better and may not need revision. Avoid sunburning or tanning the scar until all the pink is gone from it. Products such as Mederma may help. Remember that scars are permanent and cannot be removed or fixed, but may be improved.
