Very good: Most recent studies are showing even more convincing evidence of the clear association of active periodontal disease and endocarditis. Don't compromise your overall health, get the periodontal disease treated asap by a capable general dentist or periodontist!

Great: It is not a matter if it happen again, but when. You need to be seen asap and have the perio treated before it causes a 3rd endocarditis and maybe fatal. Don't wait any longer.
