A member asked:

I have had a sharp pain when i take a deep breath on left side of chest for 2 days . i don't have a cold but when i sneezed the pain was even worse?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Chest pain: This may either be due to an inflammatory process in your rib-cartillage attachments, intercostal (between ribs) muscles or tendons, something causing irritation of the pleura (two thin layers of tissue protecting the lungs), or something in the rib itself. You need to be seen and examined by a professional to get this worked out. Good luck.
