Pleurisy: You have classic pleurisy symptoms. This is an infection which can be due to virus, bacteria or mycoplasma. If you've been coughing a lot, you could have a muscular component as well now. If your chest x-ray is clear, you will get better gradually. Take Ibuprofen or Naproxen and be patient. If you haven't had a chest xray, consult your doctor to see if it's necessary after you're examined.
