Blood tests: Can tell exactly what the function is of your thyroid . If it is too active you might have symptoms of high pulse, trembling, feel palpitations, have trouble sleeping, weakness of muscles. If it is under active you might be constipated , have thinning hair or hair loss, feel cold, feel depressed, feel fatigued even when sleeping enough and possibly gaining weight. Your blood tests can tell both.
