O.Surgery guidelines: Guidelines to determine degree of difficulty in removing wisdom teeth and predicting post-op pain and swelling. Tooth position is a major determinant in the methods used in extractions. Generally, more fully erupted teeth require less surgical intervention. Angled or tilted teeth, no. of roots and curvature of roots may require sectioning of the roots resulting in more pain and swelling.
