Check ear canal: You need to have a medical provider check inside your ear canal to look at the canal and ear drum. Also a physical exam can determine if you have significant hearing loss and what kind. After an exam if you need further testing an audiology test may be ordered. Many times this type of problem can be due to ear wax, but need to look.
