Need further tests: An infected appendix (acute appendicitis) needs to be removed asap. You should see your ob/gyn physician. A ct scan of the abdomen and pelvis are next. If already done, a colonoscopy to study your colon should be done. If symptoms persist, an exploratory laparoscopy is indicated.

Re-exam: If you still have right lower abdominal discomfort and especially if you had an elevated white blood cell count and/or an ultrasound showing an abnormal appendix, you need to be reevaluated as complications from ongoing appendicitis can be dire. I recommend going back to the er now.
