Husband has tonsillitis and running a fever. can this be passed to our 4 week old baby? he has had little contact with her since sore throat began.

Possibly: Your husband should avoid contact with the baby until the problem is adequately treated. Make sure he washes his hands before he touches the baby if that is necessary. However, i would strongly urge avoidance of an contact.

A good idea: Is to stay away from baby, until diagnosis of cause of sore throat(strep?)- see pcp.
