Tonsillitis/Pharyngi: Yes Tonsillitis or Pharyngitis is a possibility.Since you have fever,you should consult your doctor to rule out streptococcal infection.Because Step infection needs to be treated with a course of Antibioics.And most Viral sore throats do not need antibiotics
