Tonsillitis: Tge white patches on enlarges tonsils are called exudates which are trapped food inside tonsillar crypts. You should get a strep test at your doctor's office ir an urgent care to make sure you don't an antibiotic. If negative, just use symptomatic treatment with ibuprofen lozenges and better oral hygiene.

Try Advil (ibuprofen) to help with sore throat, Gargle with salt and warm water.
If this is Infection, you will need Antibiotic Treatment. You can also go to your doctor's office so that Throat swab can be taken for proper diagnosis.
