No relation to pain: Cracking your knuckles has no relation to pain in the digits. The sound of knuckle cracking is the pop of a nitrogen bubble that develops in the joint. You should be evaluated by a hand specialist to determine the cause of your finger soreness. Many reasons other than knuckle cracking that may account for this soreness.
