See below: Sleep paralysis, if often, usually indicates disruption of sleep and it can point to an underlying medical issue such as sleep apnea or narcolepsy. It is recommended you consult a sleep medicine specialist to discern if this is the case, especially if excessive daytime sleepiness is present. Try to regularize your sleep times ; avoid caffeine, nicotine, ; alcohol near bedtime. Hope that helps!
