It will pass: There's no cure for the common cold. Antibiotics are not effective against cold viruses. Over-the-counter (otc) cold meds won't cure a cold or make it go away any sooner, however they can provide symptom relief (decongestants, pain/fever relievers, cough suppressants). A cold will pass with time. Get plenty of rest, stay hydrated, take vitamins (zinc), and wash your hands to prevent spread.
