See a dentist: See a dentist who can determine the cause of your tooth pain and then suggest the proper treatment. Whether or not you have a filling in the tooth the possible causes of pain are many.

What to do - : Short term solution : take Motrin or Advil , brush tooth gently and rinse with warm water, avoid sweet and sticky foods, avoid acidic drinks like soda. Long term solution: see you dentist to have the tooth evaluated and retreated as needed.

Pain: Fillings have life spans, they don't last forever. There can be many reasons for your toothache, most of which are not related to whether or not you have a filling in a tooth. Please see your Dentist for an examination to determine the cause of the pain, and the appropriate treatment plan.
