If your mri said that you have a displaced medial menisus root. would a mcmurray maneuver hurt?

Meniscus problem: The mcmurray test (extending while twisting your lower leg) is a standard exam maneuver to elicit pain at either the medial or lateral joint line of the knee. The purpose is to identify torn cartilage (menisci). Thus, if the MRI says you have a displaced meniscus, it is more likely to hurt, but you have to realize is that mris have lots of false positives (show torn menisci without any symptoms).
