Mature Scar: A scar that is over a year old in an adult is considered mature. While sun avoidance, scar massage and topic scar treatments may still help, they are most useful for the first year, after the wound has closed. For specific advice and how to improve a mature scar find a board certified plastic surgeon in your area. They can examine the scar and provide advice.

I popped what I'm assuming was a small pimple on my armpit half a year ago. The bump never completely healed up, but it causes no irritation, just gets slightly bigger temporary from sweat and then goes down quickly. Is it just a scar?
