Bruised or injured a: You may have bruised or injured a nerve in your foot. It is more likely you bruised the nerve because of the presence of tingling, which means the nerve is intact, but injured. If no laceration was incurred it is even less likely you injured the nerve permanently. Nerves are slow to heal and may take 6 months or more to return to normal after an injury. Give it time and keep pressure off of it.
