Causes for tingling-: There are many possible causes for tingling in hands, arms and feet. Some are due to Peripheral Neuropathy from Disorders like Diabetes, Nutritional Deficiency Syndromes or Physical Nerve Entrapment issues. 18hrs is long for tingling to persist without interruption. If the symptoms continue for a day or two, nonstop, One should see the PCP/Neurologist for Evaluation and Management.

Tingling : If the widespread tingling can't be explained by a localized abnormality in the brain or spinal cord, possibilities include systemic toxicity or deficiency of calcium, magnesium, potassium or a diffuse neurologic process like multiple sclerosis. I recommend consulting a neurologist for evaluation. Appropriate testing will be ordered.
