Need diagnosis: A stuffy nose can be due to allergy, nasal polyposis or even rarely a tumor. Dilated tissue of normal structures such as the inferior turbinates can also cause a stuffy nose. You need to see an ENT doctor to make a diagnosis so proper treatment can be given to un-stuff your nose. Saline irrigations and the use of of over the counter nasal sprays for 3 days only may help in the meantime.
