Who loses baby teeth sooner, the boys or the girls?

Girls: Girls mature earlier and faster than boys. On average they begin to loose baby teeth a bout a year before boys, and get loose the last of their baby teeth about a year before boys. They also enter pubertal growth spurt earlier and stop growing earlier. That's why you see girls in braces earlier than boys. If you have concerns, see a pediatric dentist or an orthodontist for guidance.
