Wellbutrin (bupropion) isn't a: Snri. Please let the prescribing doctor know about these symptoms promptly. Desvenlafaxine (pristiq) is a snri. Are you followed by a psychiatrist? If not, it could be beneficial for you. Take care.

No. It is not true: Pristiq (desvenlafaxine) is an snri and wellbutrin works on Dopamine and norepinephrine. Pristiq (desvenlafaxine) works on serotonin and norepinephrine. You are having shocks from Pristiq (desvenlafaxine) discontinuation syndrome. If you cannot reach your doctor, take Pristiq (desvenlafaxine) every other day until you can reach him for further help. If your dr is not a psychiatrist, i would ask for a psychiatric consult. Plenty of my patients do well on 50 mg of +150 to 300 mgof bupropion.Best wishes.
