Ice: Rice: rest - don't walk around a lot on it if it hurts to. Ice - ice compresses, 20 minutes every hour. Compression - wrap in an ace bandage or a neoprene wrap. Elevation - put your foot up on a chair, ideally elevate above the heart if it's really swollen. If it's not getting better in a day or two go see a doctor.
