Absolutely: Now is the most important time to nurse! if you are indeed "coming down with something", your body will be making antibodies that will transfer in the breast milk and help protect your newborn from the illness. Try and get lots of rest and fluids, and make sure to see your OB to be checked for things like uti, mastitis, any wound infections, etc. Btw - congratulations!
