A member asked:

I was told by the doctor to eat provision foods for my iih to loss weight, since then i've being eating cassava, would i loss the weight?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Cassava is starch: Cassava is tapioca and is a starch, which means carbs or carbohydrates. People usually don't lose weight by eating carbs, unless they are eating just a little bit of carbs. Eating carbohydrates makes people hungry for more, a short while later. Not sure what "provision foods" are, as that doesn't sound like an american term.
