How successful is weight loss in treating pseudotumour cerebri / iih?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Can be successful: Weight loss, especially when someone is very much overweight, can be a miracle cure in some people. However, I have patients with Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension (IIH; new name for pseudotumor) who are thin as rakes and they still have the problem even though they're not overweight at all. So, while it's NEVER A BAD IDEA to lose weight if over, there's no guarantee dropping kilos= cure.
