Amitriptyline now ok: There seems to me no good reason to avoid taking Ambien (zolpidem) and Amitriptyline at the same time as long as you get into bed as soon as you take the ambien (zolpidem). I also encourage you to use good sleep hygiene as described in this link: http://www.Stanford.Edu/~dement/howto.Html.
