Iron deficiency : Patient with gastric procedures are prone to developing anemia of many causes such as iron deficiency either due to difficulty absorbing iron or due to bleeding in the stomach. Deficiency of some vitamins such as B12 can cause anemia in patients with gastric procedures.. She needs to see a doctor for work up ..
