Very Variable: Sorry, but dementia types are so different and even vary greatly within a type that it's impossible to predict. Even overall health is not a strong predictor, but it can suggest the need for extra care. Have an evaluation by a neurologist - that may tell you more. It can be very difficult but sometimes people bear it well. A good geriatric specialist can teach and guide you all through this time.
